DESCRIPTION
A natural, matt finish impregnating sealer that will delicately enhance colour and texture. Helps protect against staining. Strongly repels water, oil and grease and allows surfaces to breathe. Suitable for artificial stone, brick, paving and limestone, marble, quarry, sandstone, slate, terracotta, terrazzo and travertine tiles. Suitable for interior and exterior applications.
DIRECTIONS
Shake prior to use. Ensure surface to be treated is completely clean, dry and free from dirt, grime, cement and grout. If necessary, first wash the surface with a dilute solution of ROCATEX Tile & Stone Renovator 1:10. Rinse well to remove residues and leave to dry (24 hours). Apply this sealer with a soft cloth, brush, paint pad or roller. Ensure even distribution by working in the sealer with a lint free cloth and remove any residue/pooling within 20 minutes and do not allow any excess to dry on the surface. Leave 2 hours between coats. More absorbent floors may require further coats and on such floors the product should be generously applied.
This product will dry after about two hours, but will take a further 70 hours to become fully resistant. During this time DO NOT cover the surface and wipe up any spills immediately. Consideration should also be given to any moisture trapped in a surface on newly laid floors in terms of covering the surface after sealer application.
The aim is to completely fill the substrate with sealer without over applying it. Do not apply in direct sunlight or in temperatures exceeding 25°C. On rougher surfaced floors it may be prudent to use an appropriate surface sealer in conjunction with this sealer, for example, ROCATEX Satin Finish Sealer. Polished surfaces should be finished after the removal of excess by buffing with a soft lint free cloth or machine with buffing pad. This should be done while the sealer is still wet on the surface. Do not allow any residues to dry on the surface and you must NOT apply if an underfloor heating system is on. Use only in well ventilated areas. Do not grout until 4 hours after applying the sealer. Tip: Without prior experience or in cases of doubt, try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use.
COVERAGE
Higher porosity:
Per 1 litre approximately 10m2 per coat.
Lower porosity:
Per 1 litre approximately 20m2 per coat.
Polished floors:
Per 1 litre approximately 25m2 per coat.
MAINTENANCE
Routinely sweep the floor and wash with ROCATEX Tile & Stone Cleaner. Clean walls and work surfaces with ROCATEX Tile & Stone Cleaner. Heavily used areas may require intense cleaning every 2-3 years and you can use ROCATEX Tile & Stone Renovator (refer to data sheet) followed by a top up coat of sealer.

Store in a cool, dry, frost free environment.

Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not breathe fume, vapours, mist, spray. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid release to the environment. Wear eye protection, protective gloves.
IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/national regulations.
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
